We had a really enjoyable stay at Brinkley's. The room was real value for money and the house nicely located near the tube station and surrounding shops, pubs and restaurants.
The facilities in the house were excellent, clean bathrooms and nice kitchen should you wish to make a cup of tea-coffee or a light meal.
Also on the day of departure, our flight was in the evening and we were allowed to leave our bags in the house such that we could still go out into town and enjoy the day and collect the bags later that day.

Having arrived in London early in the morning, Bert helped us find a temporary room in one of his other flats, so my wife could lie down, even though check-in time is 3pm. We have never met and I could not offer my gratitude in person. Nick, the manager, did a great job in moving us to the right room, only when my wife was awake.

We had a great time staying in a double room at Bert's place. The house is very spacious with a big bathroom, large living area and well equipped kitchen. Ealing is a nice, safe suburb and we were less than 5 minutes from the ealing common tube line so its easy to get to central London. We made nice friends there but the house and room are big enough for you to have your own space if needed. Bert took good care of us and Ben and Sophie were particularly welcoming and always up for a chat. Overall a great experience.

I stayed at one of Bert's locations in Ealing Commons and then was upgraded to another with an in-suite bathroom. The flat we were in was absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect! It was recently renovated and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the company of being around Ben (Bert's son) and Sophie. They made us feel welcomed and at home. Bert and his wife were both really friendly and welcoming hosts, always ready to answer questions and help you out.
My sister and I were sharing the room, and though I think this room is meant for one person, the bed was big enough for both and it wasn't a major problem, specially for a short stay like ours. The rest of the flat was very nice, specially the two bathrooms, and it came with a fully equipped kitchen which was definitely very helpful. Moreover, it was topped off by the awesome location very close to the underground station which made access to London easy and fast.
I would highly recommend this place to everyone and would definitely be back myself, if I can, next time I'm visiting London.

Very comfortable house and convenient location. Underground station, Nandos, Sainsburys etc just round the corner. Easy parking available with free vouchers from the host. All the required amenities present in house. Taxi service available near saisburys and cost just £25 to go to Trafalgar square and the same to be picked up from Leicester square, very friendly service. Host and manager reliable and respond to messages very promptly. We were a group of 9 and really enjoyed our stay in the house.

This house located in Ealing is really great, amazing, and perfect. It takes just 20-30 minutes from the airport and you can go everywhere within 30minutes to centre London. Bus stops, big supermarket, and the tube station are located in just 2-3minutes distances. There is everything you would be need during your trip or stay. There is an enough size kitchen, enough bathrooms, .. and facilities. Before moving to my own my flat, I stayed about a week at Bert's Apartment, it was a really great experience. Although I had to change my room and returned the room again because of an unexpected problem, there was nothing to complain about it, The host, Bert is really kind and helpful. He and his family will always help you.

Met by Bert's son, Ben. Delighted to hear that we had been upgraded to one bedroom apartment especially so because it was my wife birthday, a nice present. Usually when on holiday, even up to five star hotel status abroad, we have been disappointed but not so in this case or on this holiday. Ben was wonderful, helped us carried our case and belongings up three flights. The apartment was modern, clean, warm and very homely. The apartment well equipped with all modern kitchen appliances. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is within walking distance (2 mins to Ealing Common tube station and 15 mins to Ealing Broadway town) very handy. Eventually we met Bert, he came across very warm, friendly and a gentleman. He had a very flexible and can do attitude. If we were going to London in the future, we would definitely book through Bert. We would recommend anyone going to London to book with Bert. Bert and Ben, thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Sehr schönes Zimmer in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mit Gregorianischen Reihenhäusern. Ca. 30 min U-Bahnfahrt von Heathrow und ca. 30 min Fahrt nach Westminster Abbey. Die Wohnung liegt wirklich nur 2 min zu Fuß von der U-bahn entfernt! In der Umgebung gibt es nette Caffees, Restaurants und einen Supermarkt, der 7 Tage die Woche bis 22 Uhr geöffnet hat. Bert antwortet schnell auf Kontaktanfragen und wir wurden äußerst freundlich persönlich von der U-Bahn abgeholt und zur Wohnung gebracht. Von den anderen Gästen bekommt man höchstens die Türen und das Duschen mit und wer will kann Smal-Talk in der Küche machen. Das Bett war bequem, steht aber direkt unter dem Fenster. Das ist wirklich das einzige Manko: Jetzt im Oktober zieht es ziemlich durch die Fenster - da es aber eine warme Decke gibt ist es auszuhalten. Vielen Dank noch einmal für den netten Aufenthalt! Kann ich nur empfehlen!

A friendly welcome, the apartment is very nice and well equipped. We made the choice to join Acton Town on foot every time and the ride is not very long: about 15 minutes (even in a light drizzle). There was always room to park our car, whatever the hour.

We had a great time, for a whole week, in Bert's apartment! He's a perfect host, kind and patient : he responds quickly to inquiries and is really helpful. The apartment is very nice, situated in a quiet spot, 2 minutes walk from the tube (Piccadilly and District line!). Maybe the kitchen isn't ideal for 9 people (better for 6 o 7), but it's fully equipped; we particularly appreciated bathrooms and showers! Wi-fi were fully functional and there was useful written guidelines about appliances and transport. Thanks a lot for everything...We surely can recommend this accomodation!:)

It takes a while to get somewhere more central but on the other hand it's a very quiet neighbourhood and all amenities are just stone's throw away as well as the tube station is. The flat itself is very warm which some of you might know is not a standard in the UK. Perfectly equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, garden access. I only had a tiny issue with the WiFi which didn't seem to work sometimes.

The flat was perfect. Clean and well furnished- equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bert and his Son were very helpful. I sent a text message and after few minutes I had the answer. The metro station was 5 minutes' walk from this flat, moreover there was a bus station (about 2 minutes' walk).There were two big supermarkets (one with lower and second with higher prizes). I would use it again.

That's a very good room, big and clean, with a bathroom that looks brand new. Place is safe and very close to Ealing Common tube station. Whole flat is spacious and newly refurbished. I had a little problem with the heater one evening, but Bert's son fixed it next day and even brought additional heater, just in case. I had a 3 man work crew stay here while working in City center, they found its location (near tube station, shops etc) very good. Warm and well set out apartment. It was a really nice room and the area was a nice place to stay. It was easy to get to a supermarket and it only took 25-30 to get into central London. The location is a good distance from the center of London, but the proximity of this apartment to a Tube station on major lines and a small supermarket were big pluses to our crowd, one of whom had limited mobility. Ealing itself is a fairly interesting multi-ethnic place with some good greenspace and a couple of decent restaurants right by the apartment. We enjoyed some good runs and meals there. This was our first Airbnb stay, so we don't have a base for comparison, but the experience was pleasant

This was a great apartment! It had some old world charm but modern function. It was a great place for our party of 7...hard to accomodate in a hotel! We didn't use the kitchen except for cold breakfast, but it was sufficient. There is a cute patio out back we enjoyed in the evening with a beer! The metro access was not far and there was a market within 2 blocks. There was also an easy taxi stand we made use of when we were running late to the airport! The only slight disappointment was how long it took to get into London on the underground...over 40 mins during busy hours. But, the underground was easy to figure out and we were pros by the end of our stay! Ben came to the apartment and readied it for us. He was great! Everything was very clean. The extra toilette area was nice as was having 2 full bathrooms. Ben also helped us with keeping our luggage before and after checkout so we could do some more touring. Thanks!

We stayed there for 3 nights in May when I had my sister and family visiting us, and Bert was an excellent host. He made all arrangements to have our early pick up arranged . The apartment was perfect and in clean condition in a quiet place, with easy accessibility to the underground station with frequent bus services. It has a sofa cum bed which can be made use of in addition to the bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped with the appliances needed which came in useful, we used the microwave & refrigerator the most. Overall had an excellent and comfortable stay, thanks to Bert and his son.

The people who run it are friendly, the people in shops cant do enough for you and the tube station is just across road and the workers are very helpfully. Its clean in apt and the streets around it. What we like most is that it is very convenient to travel with 2 minutes' walk to underground station and bus stop. Bert bietet hier eine schöne, große Wohnung an, die sich für einen Aufenthalt in London gut eignet. Die Wohnung liegt in einer recht ruhigen Straße am Londoner Stadtrand, ist gut zu erreichen und in gutem Zustand. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig, die Betten sehr bequem und die beiden Badezimmer sauber und gepflegt. Im Wohn-/Eßzimmer mit Küche gibt es genügend Platz zum Essen und Relaxen. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich ein Supermarkt, kleinere Lebensmittelläden sowie verschiedene Restaurants. Man kann sich also gut selbst versorgen und abends etwas essen gehen, ohne noch lange fahren zu müssen. Die Underground-Station ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, und man fährt ca. 20 Minuten bis Victoria Station. Und da ist man ja dann schon "mittendrin". Die Übernahme der Wohnung war sehr unkompliziert, wir hatten vorher E-Mail-Kontakt wegen Ankunftszeit etc. und der Schlüssel war hinterlegt worden. Bert selbst war sehr hilfsbereit, er war telefonisch und per SMS zu erreichen Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung weiter.

Wir hatten sonnige 4 Tage in London. Die Erdgeschosswohnung von Bert ist ideal zwischen dem Flughafen Heathrow und der Londoner Innenstadt gelegen, in einer sehr netten, sehr englischen Wohnstraße. Außerdem sind Tube-Station und Bushaltestelle praktisch um die Ecke gelegen - genau wie der Supermarkt und Restaurants - und in maximal 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist sauber und praktisch eingerichtet und Bert ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und antwortet auf Anfragen innerhalb weniger Stunden. Da wir spät Abends ankamen, hat er uns Milch und Snacks in den Kühlschrank gestellt, damit wir bis morgens "überleben". WLAN hat auch perfekt funktioniert! Die Doppelbetten schön breit. Die eine Bettdecke für 2 Leute machte unseren beiden Söhnen zu schaffen, Das sind wir in Deutschland eher nicht gewohnt. Aber auch hier konnte uns Bert auf Email-Anfrage helfen. Wir waren zu viert - Eltern mit 2 Teenagern - unterwegs und die Wohnung war unsere Tagestouren bestens geeignet.

Wir haben 5 schöne Tage in London verbracht. Da hat die Unterkunft das seine bei getragen. Alles war sehr schön, sauber und gut organisiert. Wir konnten sogar morgens schon unsere Koffer in das Appartement bringen, da wir früh geflogen waren. Die Wohnung liegt sehr schön und ca. 200m zur Bahnstation Ealing-Common ( Zone 3 ). Die Bahn fährt zwar am Grundstück vorbei aber man hört sie nicht. Vielen Dank Bert !

Bert is a nice host. We arrived resonable early in the morning and were permitted to leave luggage at his place. Although he was still busy to clean the place (and had a bad morning cleaning help sick-little caraccident), he took his time to show/explain us everything necessary. Place is clean enough to stay while you do your trip in London. Everything (for breakfast - for dinner) is in the neighbourhood so dont need to stay in more expensive center of London. This place was awesome. Bert's son, Ben, was a great guy and was there to show us around the place. The apartment was clean and strategically located on the outskirts of London which resulted in lower cost for items in the area since it was not considered a tourist trap. My sons and I spent each evening discussing what we saw and did that day in the backyard garden. Apartment was very clean, very spacious, and located 2 minutes walking distant from the Ealing Common tube station and a 1 minute walk to local restaurants and convenience stores. If and when my family and I come back to the UK we would definitely look to stay here again. 5 of 5 stars.

Dieses Haus mit Sky TV und freiem Internet hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Bert und sein Sohn Ben sind sehr nett und kompetent. Das Apartement war sauber, die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr komfortabel auf einem hohen Standard. Mit der Schlüsselübergabe hat alles geklappt. Die Untergrundbahn ist in 3 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Es hat auch Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen von Lebensmittel in nächster Nähe. Sowie ein riesen Einkaufszentrum bei der Station Shepherds Bush, welches mit der Untergrundbahn in 10 Minuten erreichbar ist.Wir konnten unsere Ferienwoche geniessen. Wir können Bert und sein Haus mit Überzeugung weiterempfehlen. This home with Sky TV and free internet has thoroughly enjoyed it . Bert and his son Ben are very nice and competent. The apartment was clean , the interior is very comfortable to a high standard . With the keys everything worked fine. The subway can be reached in 3 minutes on foot . It also has options for shopping of food nearby. As well as a huge shopping mall in Shepherds Bush Station which can be reached by subway in 10 minutes .We could enjoy our holiday week . We can recommend Bert and his house with conviction .

I needed a place for my guests from Istanbul. He was the fastest to reply among all those I enquired and one of the rare that didn't ask investigative questions about my hosts. My guests was super happy with his place. He also gave them a free upgrade just because of better rooms were available during their visit. Ealing is one of the best locations for tourists to sleep. It is super safe. Very convenient to commute to central London and to touristic attractions. Quite central yet not very expensive and full of great restaurants and pubs.

Bert the owner and his son Ben were very helpful and friendly during our stay. They solved any problems quickly; you can tell that they are taking their lettings business seriously. The apartment itself is clean, sensibly furnished and comfortable even for long stays (we were there for a month). They provide you with everything you need to settle in quickly. The only comment would be to add a few shelves to the cupboard. The location was ideal as it is close to the tube station and also has a number of good pubs and restaurants nearby (Dante and Atari Ya in particular). I would recommend it highly and like to thank Bert and Ben for making our stay so pleasant and easy.

My family came over for my wedding and also wanted to see Lindon so this house was an ideal option with lots of rooms and beds, in a great area and close to central London. The house had everything my family needed and Brian left very clear instructions. The garden area is nice as well and if it's a good weather you can sit outside. There is lots of space in the wardrobes. The house is very clean and spacious. Basically it's a great option for a big company of people to stay together especially if you prefer to cook breakfasts and dinners which will save you money. There is also a big Sainsbury nearby and nice restaurants.

The house had a well stocked kitchen with a myriad of utensils for cooking as well as a washer and dryer for laundry. The location was great - easy to get to from Heathrow, and direct access to the city centre from the tube (literally around the corner). The house is also located just off of a high street which contains all the bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets you'll need.

The apartment is very clean and nice and it´s full of light. It is also very spacious for four persons. There is everything you need in the apartment even though cooking utensils need to be renewed because they were quite worn out. The residential area is beautiful. It´s very idyllic British neighborhood, just lovely. There are a lot of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops on walking distance. There is also a couple of gyms if you are keen to exercise. Ealing Common subway station is just around the corner it takes max two minutes to walk there. This one line takes you directly to the center so you don´t have to change lines. If we had anything to ask it was easy to reach the owner and he was very helpful. This place is not in the city center. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the center by subway. Dropping by the apartment in the middle of the day is not possible because it takes a lot of time. The other downside is that there is no air conditioning in the apartment. Those days we were staying in the apartment were ones of the hottest in the history of London so there was truly hot in the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment if you don´t mind living a bit out of the city center. We had a great stay!

We recently spent a week at Bert's flat making it our temporary home in London. The flat was perfect for us! It was clean and comfortable, and the pull out couch in the living area was a great bed for our 18 year old daughter who met up with us for the week. The flat had a well equipped kitchen which allowed us to have breakfasts and a few meals at the flat. The location was great ~ close to the tube, grocery and market type stores, and local eatery spots that offered a variety of food choices. Bert was always quick to respond to any questions we had, and our stay at the flat was very enjoyable! I would recommend this flat to my family and friends and would stay here again!
